Welcome to my magical world of botanical designs.
In direct relation to my previous post, let me take you through one of my absolute favorite new collections in my shop.
After sharing my greatest passion for mother earth, it was only natural for me to search for an original way to bring nature into my home and naturally into my creations as well. I am so ecstatic to have found a stunning way to incorporate nature at its best in my work. Actually, these pieces are a work-of-art!
One morning in the spring, I decided to collect some wildflowers during my morning stroll in the fields not far from my house. I was contemplating on how I can combine these fabulous and colorful flowers in my ceramic items. I started experimenting and got to say it was a lot of fun. God, I love my work!
I was able to press the flowers onto the clay in a way that showcases them as a whole. Then I continue playing around creating all sorts of new flower and plant designs, using vibrant colors and shapes and giving them (and you!) eternal life.
Yes, that’s right, you will be able to enjoy these decorative designs for many years, without the plates losing their lush colors and textures. In fact, they are so intact you can even recognize some of them, such as Rosemary, Lavender, Daffodils, Cyclamen, and more …
I know you might think these are seasonal items, but no, the beauty is they change according to the seasons and you can create your own unique custom collection, with flowers and plants from all 4.
Obviously, these pieces are One-Of-A-Kind and really nor two are ever alike, similar to the life cycles of nature.
So many different uses for these botanical designs – wedding favors, centerpieces, wall hangings, jewelry dishes, trinkets are just to name a few. I have no doubt you’ll think of numerous others …
