Real wedding OOAK Mezuzah – Renee and Ian preserve the pieces of the glass from their wedding as a part of their Mezuzah
Posted on מאי 23 2013
A Few weeks ago a customer contacted me and asked me how she could combine their wedding glass pieces together, in a Mezuzah to hang at the entrance of their home (breaking the glass is one of the main symbols of the Jewish wedding).
I was excited, Is there anything more excited for an artist to make something for a customer on the most meaningful moments?
Putting the Mezuzah is definitely one of these moments, think about it, a new married couple, a new house, a new life… making a custom Mezuzah out of the wedding glass pieces is indeed fresh and original!
My dear customers, you never stop surprising me and to give me new ideas with your creativity!
The wedding glass pieces were melted to the heart of the flowers decorating the Mezuzah, the high heat made the melted glass an integral part of the flowers.
What a great idea, to melt your wedding souvenir into one of the jewish symbols.
I also love the idea of Renee and Ian to create keepsakes for their anniversary so they’ll see it everyday when they go out from their warm nesty home to the big world, what do you think?
Thank you Renee and Ian for this lovely idea and for sharing with me your amazing photos of your big day!
